General Paper Examination Trends

How GP Tutors view the examination trend?

The GP essay questions are now crafted to be cross-themed, which means that the students these days are no longer able to spot the topics that they want to tackle. Instead, the students these days are expected to understand all the issues and learn how to interlink the factors affecting each issue, which means that the student must be able to tackle the questions from various angles and provide holistic answers. Moreover, the examiners are crafting the questions to involve more opinion-based discussion and this demands that the student must be able to craft and articulate their opinions.

Generally, our tutors have extensive experience and are able to effectively explain the types of questions that the examiners are testing in the recent exams. For instance, our tutors are of the view that the questions requires more evaluation and this means that the students are unable to succeed in the examination by simply memorising facts and regurgitating the facts in the essay.
